Students are introduced to Mr. Elmore's musical (and fictitious) friend, Dorian, who lives in the far-off land of Stavia. He had trouble waking up so he sang I Want to Rise in the Morning Light to help himself. Students played a music game to help. When he finally got out of bed and got dressed, he went to breakfast and had Two Little Sausages (chant accompanied by rhythm sticks). The grease from the sausages hurt his tummy so he sang Mother, Mother, I Feel Sick. Mom called the doctor who came in an ambulance and after examining Dorian, prescribed hard work to force the grease out while singing the song, Dorian (orig, Johnny) Works with One Hammer, which the students acted out.
